A Kancolle doujin release! My typesetter Poitriot, had a blast doing this one as Kitakami and Ooi’s relationship in this one was just perfect. Especially the smile in a later page, is to die for. We may do another Kancolle doujin in the future, a Shoukaku doujin most likely! So enjoy this work!

Pg.07 – Two references here. First is of course making reference to Otonashi Kotori from the original Im@s, since Kotori can also have a double-meaning as “little bird”. In reference to the character “Woodstock” from the Peanuts comic. The second reference is Bane x Take is a pairing of Akabane Kenji (Seiyuu for the 2011 Idolm@ster Producer) and Takeuchi Shunsuke (Seiyuu for the Idolm@ster CG Producer). Thus called TakeBane or in this case BaneTake.
– In the same line above, the phrase, ことりのおやつにしちゃいますよ. “Kotori no oyatsu ni shichaimasu yo”. It’s in reference Kotori Minami from Love Live! It’s Uchida Aya’s tagline during live concerts, first used in their 4th live concert, “μ’s →NEXT LoveLive! 2014 ~ENDLESS PARADE~”. – “Soukyuu” by angela is the opening song to the movie, “Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor – Heaven and Earth”. Shibuya Rin did a cover of said song for the THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA MASTER Cool jewelries! 001 album. Our comments: An honor as always to work on doujinshi of our favorite series. I’ve been a fan of Nanoha for quite a while, since I think A’s was airing. But never had a chance to actually delve into the series due to the technological limits I had at the time and my lack of anime knowledge.
Once I actually got into the series. Oh man, was Nanoha a blast. I had plenty of experience with other magical girl series. But Nanoha was special, like it was real special to me. Devices like Raising Heart and Bardiche plus the TSAB, Nanoha’s family, and even the whole background as to why Nanoha, a simple sister girl character from the Triangle Heart series, became a magical girl. Was truly an awe inspiring moment for me. It has the perfect blend of beautiful music by Mizuki Nana, magical girl and fighting game/sci-fi tropes, and heart to it that it is to this day, my top of top favorite anime franchises.

“Sympathy For the Devil” – The title and discussion is indeed talking about “Sympathy For the Devil”, the song and 1968 film, by The Rolling Stones. In addition, reference is made to the Guns N’ Roses version as well.

I am loving both NakaYoshikawa and NozoMizore doujin. They have a chemistry that is even more well-matched than the other more prominent girls in the series! Glad fans in Japan have much love for these pairings!
I also love the idea of a Christmas date. It’s a very heartwarming idea. Though Tokyo is terribly crowded during the holidays, so I understand the pains and troubles of such an outing.

One more thing, hope everyone is enjoying the release of Girls und Panzer Das Finale! I was glad to see it in theaters and luckily bought this very doujin in Melonbooks since I just saw the movie. The movie was absolutely stunning from start to finish. I think the budget is even better than the movie was, and the movie was unbelievably extraordinary. I hope Das Finale continues for many years so we can enjoy Girls und Panzer for many years to come!
